ABOUT THE BRAND

Avon Wisk is a streetwear brand as well as a form of ministry focused on spreading the gospel through artistic expression while also creating a community which includes both believers and non believers. It’s built on the belief that faith doesn’t require a certain look or background.  Having designs that aren’t always overtly Christian was important and very intentional. 

The goal is to build a community with a "Come as you are" identity that leads with love and subtly plants seeds of faith amongst skeptics and non believers.  Allowing space for the Holy Spirit to water the seeds and do the rest of the work.

Avon is a acronym for A Vessel Of Nostalgia, inspired by my reverence for the raw atmosphere of the late ’90s and early 2000s where skateboarding, boom bap hip hop, nu-metal, cinema, and fashion all collided into a feeling that will forever provide a feeling of wistfulness.  Avon also comes from a Hebrew word meaning iniquity or distorted sin.  However, scripture also presents God's capacity to forgive and take away this iniquity.  Wisk stands for Warfare In Spiritual Kingdoms. 

Together, Avon Wisk blends nostalgia with an honest look at brokenness and the daily spiritual battles we all face. It’s rooted in the belief that true restoration isn’t found in ourselves, but in coming as you are, picking up your cross, and following Jesus.
