ABOUT THE BRAND

Avon Wisk is a streetwear brand as well as a form of ministry focused on spreading the gospel through artistic expression.  Creating a community which includes both believers and non believers. It’s built on the belief that faith doesn’t require a certain look or background.  Having designs that aren’t always explicitly Christian was intentional and important.

The goal is to build a community with a "Come as you are" identity that leads with love and subtly plants seeds of faith amongst skeptics and non believers.  Allowing space for the Holy Spirit to water the seeds and hopefully provide paths that can lead people to Jesus Christ.

Avon is an acronym for A Vessel Of Nostalgia, inspired by my reverence for the atmosphere of the late 90s and early 2000s skateboarding, boom bap hip hop, nu-metal, and fashion subcultures.  Avon also comes from a Hebrew word meaning iniquity or distorted sin.  However, scripture also presents God's capacity to forgive and take away this iniquity.  Wisk stands for Warfare In Spiritual Kingdoms. 

As 1 Samuel 16:7 states, "People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart".

Wolves we may be disguised as sheep, yet the Shepherd loves us still.  Come as you are.
